The holidays are behind us
and so far there have been only mild signs of winter. Even though some of
you just pack up and head south, others are starting to make plans for the
summer camping trips.
If you are already a Good
Sam chapter member be sure to consider using the campgrounds that supported
us at our Samborees. Also be sure to get your applications in as soon as
possible for our spring Samboree coming up in March. We are expecting
another record breaking attendance. Once we reach our FULL hook up capacity
you risk not being able to park with your chapter as we hobo park the
water/electric sites.
The dates for our Spring
Samboree are March 22-25th with Early bird days the 20th and 21st. The
Spring Samboree theme is Beach Party. As usual theme day is Friday so have
your beach attire ready for that day. Thursday night is Opening Ceremonies
followed by the Aikens Family gospel band , Friday night are the Boomers
with all the Beach music we want to hear and Saturday night Conner Lorre is
back with the Legends tribute.
We will of course be
having the usual games, great hospitality, RV dealers, vendors, seminars and
much more. We'll also be collecting denotations for the Veterans Hospital.
They need X -XXL underwear as well as personal items. Your Chapter
President should have a list.
Remember this is a great
time to invite those new potential members to come see and be a part of our
Good Sam Family.
